UNO MARZILLI 
Uno Marzilli, born on October 3rd, 1997, was a "mutt" or "mixed-breed" puppy whom we adopted in December 1997. His father was a Boston Terrier and his mother was a Cocker Spaniel. He did not look like any of his puppy brothers and sisters at all. He was the tiniest puppy and the only one who had black color. During the first night at our house, Uno cried all night long. Therefore, we decided to keep him in our bedroom on the second night. He looked at us every now and then and never ever cried again. He truly became part of our family and accompanied us everywhere we went, e.g., to a Christmas party and to visit a friend in Boston. We bought a puppy video to learn how to train him to do certain things and that was quite a challenge! Uno & Milan
Years passed by, Uno still remained our favorite puppy. When our daughter "Milan" was born, Vinnie was quite concerned. Therefore, he brought home a baby's receiving blanket to let Uno smell and get to know our family's new member. I have to admit that -- It worked very well! Uno and Milan certainly became good friend, maybe brother & sister. Their love to each other is quite impressive. Once it was a snowy day, Milan, Uno, and I were playing outside. Sometimes when Milan fell down and was buried in the snow, Uno tried to rescue her by pulling her hat, ran with it, and gave it to me. Milan screamed that she was freezing. I told Uno that he actually got only Milan's hat! Uno loves to run .... on the beach .... and in the snow .... Sometimes Uno can become an Easter Rabbit .... Uno can certainly be a good companion .... He can also be a good poser .... Uno can be very handsome .... Uno can be very cute .... and Uno can be this funny !!!! |
