คุณแม่บุญล้อม นักระนาด เกิดเมื่อวันอาทิตย์ที่ ๒๑ เดือนมีนาคม พุทธศักราช ๒๔๖๙ ณ บ้านแสงดาว ตำบลปากโทก อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดพิษณุโลก คุณแม่บุญล้อม เป็นธิดาคนที่ ๙ จากจำนวนบุตร-ธิดา ๑๐ คน ของหมื่นชุมวรพัฒน์ กับนางทองอยู่ พัดชุมพร คุณแม่บุญล้อม นักระนาด ได้ถึงแก่กรรม ณ โรงพยาบาลศูนย์การแพทย์สมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดา สยามบรมราชกุมารี มหาวิทยาลัยศรีนครินทรวิโรฒ นครนายก เมื่อวันอังคารที่ ๒๓ เดือนพฤศจิกายน พุทธศักราช ๒๕๕๓ รวมอายุได้ ๘๔ ปี ๘ เดือน ๒ วัน คุณแม่บุญล้อม ได้สมรสกับคุณพ่อชัยวัฒน์ นักระนาด และมีธิดา ๓ คน ได้แก่ ๑. นางสาว จินตนา นักระนาด ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์การวิจัยและพัฒนาประมงชายฝั่งประจวบคีรีขันธ์ กรมประมง กระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์ การศึกษาปริญญาโท วิทยาศาสตร์มหาบัณฑิต สาขาวิทยาศาสตร์ทางทะเล จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ๒. ดร. นิตยา นักระนาด มิลน์ ผู้อำนวยการส่วนวิจัยนิเวศนเศรษฐศาสตร์และสังคม ศูนย์วิจัยและฝึกอบรมด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม การศึกษาปริญญาเอก วิทยาศาสตร์สิ่งแวดล้อม ด้านพลังงานทดแทน มหาวิทยาลัยลีดส์ ประเทศสหราชอาณาจักร ดร.นิตยา สมรสกับ ดร. สตีเวน จอห์น มิลน์ อาจารย์คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยลีดส์ ๓. ดร. จารุณี นักระนาด-มาร์ซิลลี นักวิชาการอิสระ การศึกษาปริญญาเอก วิทยาศาสตร์สิ่งแวดล้อม ด้านการจัดการทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยโรดไอแลนด์ ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา ดร. จารุณี สมรสกับ นายวินเซนต์ มาร์ซิลลี จูเนียร์ เภสัชกรชาวอเมริกัน และมีธิดา ๑ คน คือ เด็กหญิงมิลาน มุกวาริน มาร์ซิลลี คุณแม่บุญล้อม นักระนาด ได้ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ในฐานะภรรยาที่ดีของคุณพ่อชัยวัฒน์ นักระนาด และเป็น "แม่" ที่ประเสริฐของลูกๆ คุณแม่บุญล้อม ได้อบรม สั่งสอน ฟูมฟัก และเพาะบ่ม ให้ลูกๆ มีความซื่อสัตย์ เสียสละ กล้าหาญ เป็นคนดีของสังคม และรับราชการสนองใต้เบื้องพระยุคลบาท ด้วยความกตัญญูรู้คุณต่อแผ่นดินไทย คุณแม่บุญล้อมได้ปฏิบัติตนและดำเนินชีวิตตามแนวทางของพระพุทธศาสนา โดยยึดมั่นในหลักวิถีชีวิตแบบพอเพียง และเชื่อว่าการเกิด แก่ เจ็บ ตาย นั้นเป็นเรื่องธรรมดาของชีวิต และสำหรับผู้ที่ดำรงชีวิตอยู่นั้น ควรตั้งอยู่ในความไม่ประมาท และหมั่นกระทำแต่คุณงามความดี บัดนี้ คุณแม่บุญล้อม นักระนาด ได้อำลาจากโลกปัจจุบันไปสู่อีกภพหนึ่ง ซึ่งเป็นโลกสุขคติ สิ่งหนึ่งที่คุณแม่บุญล้อม ภาคภูมิใจ คือ ในฐานะของ "แม่" ที่ได้อุ้มชูเลี้ยงดู และเห็นพัฒนาการความก้าวหน้าของลูกๆ ทั้งสามคน ตั้งแต่วัยทารก... เด็ก... นักเรียน... นิสิต... นักศึกษา... ผู้ใหญ่... ข้าราชการ... ความสำเร็จในหน้าที่การงาน หรือการมีครอบครัวของลูกๆ รวมทั้งการเป็นภรรยาและแม่ที่ดี ตามแบบอย่างของคุณแม่บุญล้อม นักระนาด การจากไปของคุณแม่บุญล้อม นักระนาด นี้ เป็นการพรากจากอย่างไม่มีวันหวนกลับ เป็นการจากไปอย่างชั่วนิรันดร์ เหลือเพียงความรักและความอาลัยยิ่งจากสมาชิกทุกคนในครอบครัวนักระนาด รวมทั้งญาติมิตร ทั้งผู้ที่ได้มาร่วมงาน และไม่ได้มาร่วมงานไว้อาลัยในวันนี้
ในวาระนี้ คุณพ่อชัยวัฒน์ นักระนาด และลูกๆ ใคร่ขอกล่าวกับคุณแม่บุญล้อม นักระนาด และแขกผู้มีเกียรติที่ได้มาร่วมในงานทุกท่านว่า ทุกคนภูมิใจที่ได้เกิดมาเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของชีวิตของคุณแม่บุญล้อม นักระนาด ขอดวงวิญญาณของคุณแม่บุญล้อม นักระนาด จงสู่สุขคติในสัมปรายภพ ด้วยเทอญ

My mom, Boonlom Nugranad was born on Sunday, March 21, 1926 at Sang Dao Village, Pak Tok Sub-District, Amphoe Muang, Phitsanulok. She was the 9th daughter out of ten children of Meun Chumworapat and Mrs. Thongyoo Patchumporn. My mom passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at the HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Medical Center Hospital, Srinakharinwirot University, Nakhon Nayok Province, at the age of 84 years 8 months 2 days. My mom was married to my dad - Mr. Chaiwat Nugranad, and they had three daughters: 1. Miss Jintana Nugranad, Director of the Center for Coastal Fisheries Research and Development of Prachuap Khirikhan, Fisheries Department, Ministry of Agriculture and Co-operatives. Jintana received a Master of Science in Marine Science from Chulalongkorn University. 2. Dr. Nittaya Nugranad Milne, Director of Ecological Economics and Social Research Section, Environmental Research and Training Centre, Department of Environmental Quality Promotion, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. Dr. Nittaya received Ph.D. (Environmental Engineering) in Renewable Energy, from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom. Dr. Nittaya is married to Dr. Steven John Milne, Reader in Ceramic Science, Faculty of Engineering, University of Leeds. 3. Dr. Jarunee Nugranad-Marzilli, Social Architect. Dr. Jarunee received Ph.D. (Environmental Science) in Natural Resources Management, from the University of Rhode Island, USA. Dr. Jarunee is married to Mr. Vincent Marzilli, Jr., R.Ph., an American Pharmacist, and they have one daughter, Milan Mookvarin Marzilli. My mom had always performed her duties as a good wife to her husband and a wonderful mother to her children. She raised and nurtured her children to be honest, sacrificing, to have courage, to be a good asset to society, and to serve the government of Thailand with gratitude. My mom had conducted her life as 'self-sufficient' according to the Buddhist philosophy, and believed that birth, aging, illness, and death were all parts of life. She felt we should be practical and to do good. My mom has now gone from our world to be in eternal peace. One thing that my mom was proud of as a mother, was to nurture with love and care and to witness the development and progress of her three children, from being infants, toddlers, students, adults, professionals, and having success in careers and family lives. Additionally she also took pride in me being a good wife and a good mother, following the great example she set. Our memories of my mother will last forever. She will be loved and missed by all of us, the Nugranad Family, as well as relatives and friends, both those who are here today and those who are not at this funeral. In conclusion, my dad, my sisters, and I, would like to tell my mom, in front of the honored guests, that everyone is thankful to have been part of her life. May she and her soul rest in peace.
